Grr

Again, it has been a while since I’ve last blogged. Why? I have no interest to do so. Might be disappointing for some, I know. Sure there are stories I could share and funnies I could post but when I get home, the last thing I think of is to spend an hour or so thinking of what to write, how to write it, etc. I just want to unwind and enjoy the rest of my day.

That being said, this blog post does have a purpose and it is not about the reason to why I don’t post anymore. This post is mainly to vent yet again on a Pet Peeve of mine: People using cell phones while a movie is playing at the theater.

Nothing gets my blood boiling as much as this for some reason. I know it’s a silly thing to get all worked up about but I just can’t help it. NO ONE is important enough to be picking up their cell phone to text or otherwise while a movie is playing. It’s clearly posted outside of a theater to please turn off your cell phone and that anyone caught using it will be removed without exception.

Are you waiting for an important call or text and are in the theater to waste some time? SIT IN THE LAST FUCKING ROW OF THE THEATER AS TO MINIMIZE THE ANNOYANCE OF A BRIGHT FUCKING SCREEN DRAWING PEOPLES ATTENTION TO YOU. Also, you could always just be polite and step out to answer the text or call. Hopefully your phone is on vibrate for this.

Checking the time on your cell phone? The movie is going to be over when it’s going to be over regardless of how many times you check to see what time it is. I’ve caught a few friends doing this even after I have mentioned to them that I dislike it when people use cell phones in theaters. They have all disappointed me greatly.

One particular friend turned his phone on in front of me just because he noticed that an hour or so into the movie, no one had used their cell phone. He got a swift kick in the balls after the movie was over for this.

I could go on and on about more specifics but that will just get me thinking about it even more so I will just end it here.

I apologize for grammar and whatever punctuation mistakes I have made.
Have a nice weekend, y’all.
